I strain to remember all the words pushed through.
It’s getting harder still to recall the thoughts of my careless friend who told a story left untrue
And here’s the joke, now all I can think is bring back the day
When we all spoke the truth and died for one more thing to say.
They said, ‘Bring back the day,
For one more thing to say.’
Moonlighting with the legion, I pass the site of every failure,
Glory’s flower dull and planted by the score,
But it’s not meant for me,
The beach a heart of stone,
Nowhere to tread, no soldiers anymore…
…where we all spoke the truth and died for one more thing to say.
They said, ‘Bring back the day,
For one more thing to say.’
In 2019, I was in Salisbury and attended the Alphabet Business Convention without knowing any artist. Lost Crowns was my favourite band that played there. Pablo P.
